The Sparton "Visionola" is one of very few
Movie, Radio Phonograph Combination units
manufactured during the 1930's, 40's and 50's.
There are only 5 or 6 Visionolas known to
exist today. This is one of them.

In 1931, the price of a Sparton Visionola was $595.00
Sparton spent over $600,000.00 in the developement of the Visionola and ended up
producing the "Visionola" for one year only, between 1930 - 1931.
Sound on film came out and ended demand for these units. It was a bad investment for Sparton
