It's an Electro-Shock Therapy Machine
patented in 1854.
Patient
slips an index finger
into each of the metal tubes
and the Doctor cranks the magneto.
This machine is complete and in
working condition.
(I tested it on a friend)
The
brass bound oak box
measures 10" x 4-1/2" x 4-1/2"
Outside of lid has s few stains.
