is a device designed to measure
the curvature of the anterior surface
of the cornea, the chief refracting
surface of the human eye.
It can thus deliver a primary
index of a patient's astigmatism
or other corneal irregularities.

A nice antique medical device.

Made of brass & cast Iron.
